Inland Plastics bee hive winter covers are manufactured using super tough woven poly fabric outer skin and a rodent resistant polyester insulation.  

The Inland Plastics insulated quad pack bee side wrap, pillow and top cover system, (Western Winter Wrap), have been in use in Western Canada for over 45 years. This 3 part system for overwintering bees promotes easy access to check the hives and will accommodate feeding pails with the removal of the inner insulating pillow. Various combinations are available in single, double, triple or quad pack of hives.

Now available - Fitted bee overwintering covers feature a fitted side wrap with attached top and inner extra “pillow of insulation”. These fitted overwintering covers are similar to the Western winter wrap system but are designed to slip over the hive for quick and easy installation. The fitted bee overwintering covers are available for Single – 1 storey, Single 2 storey, Double 1 storey, Double 2 storey, Triple 1 storey, Triple 2 storey, Quad 1 storey, Quad 2 storey. These covers include upper entrance grommets. They are available in the separate components or as kits that include attachment hardware.

Insulated 1 piece bee blankets are available in many sizes to accommodate the number of hives you choose to cover. They are available with single or multiple layers of insulation. We will custom manufacture to your requirements.
