Inland Plastics is an over 50-year-old privately held family run business. It started by selling the first and original Hay Cover and Truck Tarps to the Agricultural communities across North America.

The company was founded in Olds, Alberta, Canada, a small agricultural community nestled into the foothills of the great Canadian Rockies. The first manufacturing location was situated in the back of the local barber shop. A limited number of seamstresses could be accommodated and a larger facility became necessary.

The opportunity arose in 1971 to purchase a large 4 classroom schoolhouse in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. The purchase was made and the company moved to its present Head Office location. The school building and grounds allowed for the growth that the company was experiencing.

Well established in the new location, the company developed and introduced several new products to the market, such as wooden and steel framed structures, temporary grains storage covers, insulated tarpaulin products, etc. As the company grew, so did their buying power.

Inland Plastics has grown to become one of North America's largest warehousing and distributors of reinforced vinyl, reinforced polyethylene, mesh, shade, canvas & specialty textiles. These products are sourced domestically and internationally. Inland Plastics supplies the Commercial and Industrial Textile industry with a wide variety of textiles & accessories from our 7 North American warehouses. We custom order to required specifications and supply at all levels of volume from roll lots to full truckloads and direct ship sea containers.

Inland Plastics provides domestic manufacturing support to our textile customers through our 2 Canadian manufacturing facilities. Too busy? Too large? Don’t have the right equipment? We can help!
